This course discusses the functions of Web Services Enhancements (WSE) 3.0, and how to enable it in client and server applications. SOAP Messages are covered in great detail, particularly through digital signatures, encryption and decryption, and routing. This course also examines policies and filters in SOAP messages, as well as how to implement SOAP messaging with WSE 3.0. Finally, this course takes a look at the uses of security credentials in SOAP messages.
Objectives:
- Add references to WSE assemblies in Client applications
- Add a digital signature to a SOAP message
- Describe the basics of Policy files
- Describe the basic concepts of filters relating to Web service applications
